custom standee cut outs for Quinn special eventWe had a great time celebrating 80/50 with QUINN last month. It was the Agency’s 50th anniversary and the founder Jerry Quinn’s 80th birthday. The program was excellent. It was awesome to see and hear their story! Our small part was producing some standees for stage props and photos.

Materials for Printing Standees

Our custom standee cut outs are made from durable materials like corrugated plastic, polystyrene, or gatorplast.  Corrugated plastic is rigid, water-resistant, and affordable, so producing several standees is easy on the budget. Polystyrene offers a smooth, matte surface for printing, and will hold up for several years. It’s flexible and lightweight, yet rigid, so it’s great for POP standees. Gatorplast is a lightweight polystyrene foam board. Rigid gator does not dent easily, and is great for shape cut signs.

trade show custom table cover matches pop up canopy, designed by Signs for SuccessWell-designed trade show graphics make a huge statement, especially when you have just 3 seconds to catch someone’s attention.  This table cover and matching pop up canopy were custom designed for Scott Realty Group in Texas. They were a big hit at their event last month. The coordinating pieces made a great first impression and got lots of compliments as well.

This table throw and tent are so successful because they are simple.  The coordinating colors and graphics provide visual impact while the message is clear.  Some companies make the mistake of trying to include too much. This just creates clutter and confuses the viewer.  

A pop up tent offers easy set up and take down. In addition, it keeps folks cool and shaded from the Texas sun. Trade show table covers come in 6-foot or 8-foot lengths, and can be printed with one or two colors (for a simple logo or company name), or in full color to really maximize the visual impact.

Printed foam core board is a popular product for everything from posters to framed wall art.  Foam core is an almost weightless board made with a shredded paper foam core and a white coated paper stock face.  It is also one of the least expensive medias we can print on so for short term use it is a great value. When storing foam core prints, they should be handled gently and placed away from heavy or sharp objects because the paper face dents easily.  Also store away from moisture and if needed, clean using a dry cloth. Signs for Success can provide boxes and corner protectors to ensure safe storage.

If you need the same look but want a more durable product be sure to ask about Gator Plast. Gator Plast utilizes High Impact Styrene plastic faces and shredded Styrene core. This makes for a denser, harder surface which is less prone to dents. Also being plastic it can be cleaned using water based cleaners and not destroyed by moisture. While more expensive it is often, depending on use, the better value for your project.
