Non-profits work hard to earn funds that will help achieve the organization’s goals. We work with several non-profits including United Way, Make a Wish, 2nd Harvest, YMCA, the Spokane Symphony, Isaac Foundation, and more.  We’ve created all kinds of signs for non-profits, but the three most common non-profit signs are corrugated plastic signs, special event banners, and promotional items.

Coroplast Signs

Corrugated plastic, or coroplast signs come in many different shapes and sizes.  They work well indoors or out and are a cost-effective means of getting a message across.  Some non-profit organizations have custom standees made in the shape of a person, animal, or goal thermometer.

Perhaps the most popular use for corrugated plastic signs by non-profits this past summer was for Golf Tournament Signs.  Golf tournaments are a great way to raise money, and we can supply hole signs, sponsor signs, and directional signs.  Like golf tournaments, charity runs, walks or biking events also use sponsor signs and directional and arrow signs to keep people on course.

Banners

Custom banners are another great way to attract attention to a non-profit’s cause.  Add details about your cause or an image that relates, and people are sure to take notice.  We print custom large banners, mesh banners, canvas banners, and vinyl banners.  Banners can be specified as double-sided or single-sided, with hem and grommets or with pole pockets.  A custom size can be specified as well. Banner stands display your banner indoors.  Outdoor banners can be hung with cord or installed on a pole or post.

Promotional Items

When it comes to promotional items, try to gear giveaways to your audience.  If your customer base largely includes young families, a bouncy ball with your name on it that can be given to children is a good bet.  Notepads or a planner to write lists down are great for adults who might have lots of activities to keep up with.

If possible, help people remember your cause by having a giveaway that’s related to your cause.  For example, a health or medical support organization could give away mini first aid kits, and an organization focused on helping people find employment could give away attractive, heavy duty folders for storing resumes or portfolios.

YMCA coro a-frame signs

Coro signs are great for non-profit organizations.  They are cost-effective and durable, lightweight and portable.  These large and small a-frame signs were created for the YMCA and their various events.  Coro signs can be used both indoors and outdoors.  They can be designed with a self-standing collapsible frame, such as this a-frame design, making them both portable and easy to store.  Although coro is considered a temporary sign material, it has been known to last for several years, so non-profits will be sure to get their money’s worth.

2nd Harvest wanted a standee that was large for a photo shoot at their events in Pasco and Spokane, Signs for Success did this out of corrugated plastic, coro signs spokane

2nd Harvest Semi truck standee

This giant coro standee was created for a 2nd Harvest fundraiser.  Spanning 24 feet long, it’s a nearly life-sized representation of an actual 2nd Harvest delivery truck.  A unique display is great for special events and fundraisers.  The most effective designs embrace something specific to the business or organization.  When 2nd Harvest held fundraisers in Pasco and Spokane, instead of simply tacking donation slips to a designated wall, they used this custom coro standee in the shape of a mobile pantry delivery truck.

The giant coro sign was created by printing six separate 4’ x 8’ panels of corrugated plastic.  When put together, they complete a 24-foot semi-truck standee with a contour cut cab and window cut-out.  The stand that holds each piece of the truck up is also constructed out of corrugated plastic and was designed specifically for this project.

One great thing about this custom standee is that it will always be significant to the specific purpose and mission of 2nd Harvest, making it usable at future events and fundraisers for years to come.
