New Golf Course Logo Design and Signs for Esmeralda Golf Course

Building golf course brand identity begins with golf course logo design.  A well-designed golf course logo can contribute to success, while a substandard logo design can turn off potential customers.  Rob Sanders, the new PGA Pro at Esmeralda Golf Course, recently contacted us to design a new logo for the course.  “He and his wife had some preliminary ideas, and going through the design and proofing process, Jamie was able to get them a logo they love,” Signs for Success owner John Bogensberger said.

Golf Course Logo Design Process

  1. Initial interview for preferences and direction on colors, style and overall vision. A logo is the basic unit of a larger brand identity. Through colors, fonts and images, it provides essential information about a company that allows customers to identify with the company’s core brand.
  2. Compile elements and conduct research, if needed.
  3. Create Proof(s).
  4. Revise proof until final logo design is achieved.

Signs for Success designer Jamie Wood talked about the process for Esmeralda Golf’s logo design.  “They brought some ideas of different logos they liked.  The first time we sat down, we looked at different fonts and compiled all the elements they liked.  I sent four proofs, and they picked one from that group.  Then we made little changes, like take off a little line here or change the font.  It was really helpful that they had ideas of styles they liked and pictures of logos so I could take those things and turn them into what they really wanted.”

A new golf course logo design can then be applied to signs, vehicles, marketing materials and more.

“The new golf course logo design is already above the fireplace and on two of our scoreboards.  It’s also on 46 golf carts and I am hopeful in a couple of months

we will have a new sign made at the entry with it,” Rob said.

A golf course logo design is the chief visual component of a company’s brand identity.  It unifies all the different aspects of a business, like on scoreboards and golf carts.  Logos also provide a standard and unified focus for fonts, colors, and design choices in all other business and marketing materials.

If your logo could use an update, or a complete re-do, we can help.  Our logo design packages accommodate different needs, from vectorizing and/or updating to designing a completely new logo with multiple concepts and proofs.  In addition, we can take that fabulous new logo design and implement it into signs, vehicle graphics, and more!

“I was referred to John from an employee that had worked with him in the past.  As I checked with others that have used him they have all been extremely happy with his quality and the price of his work,” Rob said.  “My experience has been excellent and I absolutely am thrilled with the results.  I would highly recommend anyone looking for help in logo redesign, branding and signage.  John and his staff are amazing!”

We have the opportunity with many businesses looking for a fresh start, or new businesses just starting up, to create a logo design and brand image from scratch.  Working with the customer to achieve their vision is rewarding, especially when we get to see the final product – a complete advertising campaign utilizing the new logo across different media.  For Pioneer Homes, we helped create a new logo design and implement it into the production of custom yard signs, business cards and a van wrap.

Our experienced design team works with customers one on one to come up with a logo design that suits their company identity and goals.  “We came up with a new logo after many revisions.  Gil is thrilled with his new logo,” Signs for Success designer Vanessa Bogensberger said.  Logos are a shorthand way of referring to the company.  They are the “face” of the company, and they provide a standard and unified focus for the various fonts, colors and design choices in all other marketing materials.  As such, it’s important to take the time to work out a design that will convey that unique identity.

Custom Yard Signs

Custom yard signs are a cost-effective way to advertise on and near properties you are working on.  The standard size for yard signs is 18” x 24,” but yard signs are customizable, including sign size, colors, text and artwork.  Vanessa was able to incorporate the new logo into the yard sign design while still maintaining a clean, easy-to-read design.  We print yard signs on weather-resistant corrugated plastic.  Printing can be single- or double-sided, and UV-curable inks hold up outdoors for several months, up to a few years, depending on weather and direct sun exposure.

Van Wrap Design

Vehicle wraps are regarded as the best form of outdoor advertising in terms of return on investment (ROI).  It’s a no brainer to use space you already own to advertise your business, especially when that space also travels to all the communities you want to advertise in.  Furthermore, vehicle wraps generate up to 70,000 impressions per day, and they last 5-7+ years.

“We used his own great photos from jobs he has done in the Inland Northwest as well as out in the Seattle and Western Washington area,” Vanessa said.  Using photographs from finished projects is a great idea – not only is your logo advertised wherever the vehicle goes, but proof of your expertise does as well.  When it comes to van wrap design, simple and bold is the way to go.  Too much text or lots of small photos are difficult to process quickly.  On the other hand, a large logo, large photo and contact information gives just enough visual impact without overwhelming.

Gil of Pioneer Homes was able to use the new logo across different media, from yard signs and business cards to a new van wrap.  Now with the cohesive look, Pioneer Homes is giving a great first impression wherever business takes them.  Signs for Success is a locally owned family business in Spokane, and we strive for excellent customer service, perfect color, and quick turnaround on every project.  Our large production facility allows us to design, print and install everything in-house.  Get quality service and a quick turnaround on logo design Spokane, custom signs and more; contact us for a free quote today!
