Large wall mural installation at the Quality Custom Distribution warehouse in Spokane
This large wall mural, 25′ x 40′, adds decoration to an otherwise plain warehouse wall. The custom design captures the beauty of one of Spokane’s most iconic features, the Monroe Street Bridge. Additionally it highlights the Quality Custom Distribution company and one of their biggest partners, Starbucks.
“We had to go out [to the warehouse] twice, once for brainstorming and initial photos and measurements. Once we got quote approval to proceed, we went out and took exact measurements so we could make a wall template to make sure all content would layout correctly,” Signs for Success designer Vanessa Bogensberger said.
Signs for Success designer Will Oakley did the wall wrap design. “They were looking for a way to put Spokane into the Quality Custom Distribution logo, and also showcase Starbucks, one of their biggest partners,” Will explained. “First we had to find a high quality photo to be able to blow it up large enough to cover the warehouse wall.” Spokane Sports Commission, another one of our clients, pays a photographer to take pictures of Spokane each year. We asked for rights to use a high resolution photo for a wall wrap and got permission to use it for this purpose. The design meshes the Quality Distribution Foods logo and Starbucks logo with a photograph of the beautiful Spokane Falls.

“It was a massive wall. We were able to achieve this wall wrap with a really high resolution photo, and it turned out pretty cool,” Will said. “It turned out beautifully. It’s a very vivid mural in their warehouse; very inspiring,” Vanessa said.
This large wall mural was printed on 3M ControlTac IJ180-CV3 vinyl film, a material that is also often used on vehicle wraps. The high performance vinyl was ideal for the industrial application of a warehouse wall since it can be laminated and easily wiped down with normal cleaners. In a showroom or residential situation, you could create a similar wall mural using custom printed wallpaper. “It’s more like a fabric and soft to the touch,” Will said.
