John Bogensberger

Owner

John began his first business with wife Vanessa in the Seattle area in 1984. After 17 successful years, they sold the business and decided to move the family to Spokane where they founded Signs for Success in 2001. John loves handling marketing and sales, and he is actively involved in Greater Spokane Inc., Spokane Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce, Spokane Home Builders Association & the Greater Hillyard Business Association. He spends his free time boating, camping and getting together with their six children and seven grandchildren.

Vanessa Bogensberger

Owner

Vanessa has been in business for 30 years, besides rearing and home-schooling six children. A veritable super-woman, she was also the primary designer for Signs for Success during its first six years. As the business has grown, Vanessa has settled into doing what she loves best – bookkeeping and inside sales. During off-time, she loves to spend time with her grandchildren, quilt (she’s completed over 20 quilts), cross-stitch and read.

Denise Gillit

Denise Gillit

Production Manager

Before joining Signs for Success in 2009, Denise worked for 17 years in the sign industry screen printing and designing monument signs. At Signs for Success, she accepted the only position available at the time – office reception – and worked successfully in that capacity, often lending her expertise in production as well, until the Production Manager position became available two years later. “I can honestly say that moving to Spokane and having the opportunities I have had here has changed my life forever. I look forward to helping Signs for Success become everything it dreams of being.”

Nikki Aiello

Nikki Aiello

Office Manager

Nikki has 15 years’ experience in administrative and office management and enjoys the customer service culture she has found since joining the Signs for Success team. “We love our customers and strive to exceed their expectations. We have the most crazy, fun, and caring group of people around. Beyond that, we have owners who are committed to the betterment of their company and the people they employ. A recipe for Success!” Spare time is devoted to family—every summer, Nikki, her husband and their three children and two mini schnauzers spend all their free time camping, hiking, swimming, and having barbecues with family.

Sales Specialist

Julie was born and raised in Spokane. She has been an office manager, entrepreneur, and skilled motivational interviewer. Julie loves to build others up and help them explore possibilities and strategies to accomplish their goals. “It is exciting to be part of a team of professionals that truly care about their customers, make quality their highest priority, utilize state of the art equipment, and continually improve.”

Sammie Roland

Creative Director

Sammie graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2015 with a degree in Visual Communication Design and a minor in Art. She was exposed to the design industry at 16, working at her father’s t-shirt printing company. Sammie continued freelancing in design while serving as the Regional Creative Arts Director for a local non-profit organization and finishing school. When she’s not working, Sammie can be found helping out at church or spending time with friends and family. “I come from a huge Italian family that thrives on sarcasm, laughter and carbohydrates. My favorite thing about working at Signs for Success is the team I get to work with!”

Ben Rioux

Senior Sign Fabricator

Ben studied Media Arts at the University of Montana before joining the Signs for Success team. When he’s not handling production at Signs for Success, he enjoys motion design and making stop motion videos with his daughters, or just enjoying the outdoors.

Jamie Wood

Jamie Wood

Designer

Jamie grew up in the Boise area and graduated from University of Idaho in 2014 with a degree in Secondary Education, Communications and Art. With some experimentation in design for friends and for fun, a little on-the-job-training, and an innate talent for design, Jamie has excelled as a graphic designer. She also enjoys hiking, camping, volleyball, cooking and hosting. She and husband Anthony have been married since 2014. “Every day I get to come to work, spend time with amazing people, learn new things and use my creativity! It has been such a blessing to work for a company that is not only successful but also really wants the best for its employees and clients.”

Rich "Coro King" Wilke

Master Sign Fabricator

Rich worked at his brother-in-law’s sign shop right out of high school for a few years before joining the Army where he served in Kuwait as a M1A1 Armor Crew Member. Rich left the military and returned to sign-making, moving to Spokane in 2005. “I placed an ad on the internet looking for work in the area and John saw it and called me, and the rest is history.”

"In high school, my best friend and I started our school‘s very first Printmaking class, and we began printing t-shirts for our school’s sports teams. It was then and there I realized that I could take my artistic expression and sculpt a career focused around art. Shortly after moving to Spokane, I was given a great opportunity to learn more about the Graphic Arts Industry at Designer Decal where I was provided "on the job training". I started off at the bottom of the barrel, and after 6 years was able to manage any process in any type of job. My love for Graphic Arts will only continue to grow with Signs for Success with whom I am very happily employed!"

Bryce Morrison

Apprentice Sign Fabricator

Bryce was born in Tucson, AZ in the summer of 87‘. He relocated to the Spokane area in 93’, and has lived here ever since. After graduating from Central Valley High School in 05’, Bryce received a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Eastern Washington University in December of 2012, supplementing his two bachelors degrees. After switching careers and pursuing avenues outside of social services, Bryce recognized an opportunity to explore his artistic and production inclinations for Signs For Success in the winter of 2015. Bryce has two beautiful daughters at home, who are his entire world, and he takes tremendous pride in being a father. Bryce has many interests in life, including playing cards/games, reading and anything outdoors, but most noticeably he is a sports guy. Specifically, he is a die hard University of Arizona basketball fan, born and raised. Few things in life give him as much pleasure as seeing his favorite team win . . .

Josh Champion

Apprentice Sign Fabricator

Josh grew up in Spokane and graduated from North Central High School in 2011. Shortly after, he took to working full time in Spokane, and later on in California and Alaska. He joined the team at Signs for success in the summer of 2016 and has found a passion in the sign making industry. Away from work you will typically find him enjoying the outdoors through endurance cycling, hiking and camping.

Kim Dudley

Kim Dudley

Technical Writer

Kim has a degree in Professional Writing and has been writing for over a decade, from feature writing for a fashion and arts magazine to technical writing for a national mystery shopping business. She is also a full time stay-at-home mom with two lovely children, and enjoys building block towers, coloring, and playing pirates in her spare time. “I have been writing for Signs for Success since 2011, and I still haven’t run out of material because they’re truly innovators. They stand behind their products, and they’re willing to find unique solutions to get the best possible result for each individual customer.”
