New Golf Course Logo Design and Signs for Esmeralda Golf Course

Building golf course brand identity begins with golf course logo design.  A well-designed golf course logo can contribute to success, while a substandard logo design can turn off potential customers.  Rob Sanders, the new PGA Pro at Esmeralda Golf Course, recently contacted us to design a new logo for the course.  “He and his wife had some preliminary ideas, and going through the design and proofing process, Jamie was able to get them a logo they love,” Signs for Success owner John Bogensberger said.

Golf Course Logo Design Process

  1. Initial interview for preferences and direction on colors, style and overall vision. A logo is the basic unit of a larger brand identity. Through colors, fonts and images, it provides essential information about a company that allows customers to identify with the company’s core brand.
  2. Compile elements and conduct research, if needed.
  3. Create Proof(s).
  4. Revise proof until final logo design is achieved.

Branding Guide

Signs for Success designer Jamie Wood talked about the process for Esmeralda Golf’s logo design.  “They brought some ideas of different logos they liked.  The first time we sat down, we looked at different fonts and compiled all the elements they liked.  I sent four proofs, and they picked one from that group.  Then we made little changes, like take off a little line here or change the font.  It was really helpful that they had ideas of styles they liked and pictures of logos so I could take those things and turn them into what they really wanted.”

A new golf course logo design can then be applied to signs, vehicles, marketing materials and more.

“The new golf course logo design is already above the fireplace and on two of our scoreboards.  It’s also on 46 golf carts and I am hopeful in a couple of months

we will have a new sign made at the entry with it,” Rob said.

A golf course logo design is the chief visual component of a company’s brand identity.  It unifies all the different aspects of a business, like on scoreboards and golf carts.  Logos also provide a standard and unified focus for fonts, colors, and design choices in all other business and marketing materials.

If your logo could use an update, or a complete re-do, we can help.  Our logo design packages accommodate different needs, from vectorizing and/or updating to designing a completely new logo with multiple concepts and proofs.  In addition, we can take that fabulous new logo design and implement it into signs, vehicle graphics, and more!

“I was referred to John from an employee that had worked with him in the past.  As I checked with others that have used him they have all been extremely happy with his quality and the price of his work,” Rob said.  “My experience has been excellent and I absolutely am thrilled with the results.  I would highly recommend anyone looking for help in logo redesign, branding and signage.  John and his staff are amazing!”

white ink decals on Vullo custom bats

White Ink Decals for Vullo Bat

Vullo Bat Company offers custom crafted baseball bats, each handmade from start to finish by the owner himself, John Vullo.  White ink decals add the finishing touch to his one-of-a-kind bats.

Custom Bats White Ink Decals

Signs for Success has the unique ability to print white ink.  We use white ink to enhance:

  • Backlit signs
  • Wood prints
  • Clear decals
  • Static clings

White ink is useful for a number of projects, and absolutely necessary to creating the Vullo logo decals on clear vinyl.  “The white ink decals on clear vinyl that you make for me really makes my product stand out,” owner John Vullo said.  “About half of our bats we make are black, so the white on black really pops!”

We can print white ink on a clear decal, but white ink also enables us to print other colors, like red on black, with white underneath so the red is still vibrant.  We work with each customer’s vision and budget to come up with truly unique solutions.  John’s bats come in different colors, including custom team colors, black and natural wood grain.  Our white ink decals have made it possible to add the professional touch of a signature logo on each and every bat.  Having custom decals “advertises his company and allows for expanding his product line,” Signs for Success sales specialist Julie Dean said.

When setting up decals for printing, we make the best use of space within the material.  “I try to find what makes economic sense— 10 decals would be grossly expensive.  The best break in price for what he needs is about 250 at a time,” Julie explained.

From Design to Print

“I chose Signs for Success because you were one of the few businesses that printed white ink on clear vinyl.  Also you had a design team that helped me design our logo that we use today,” John said.  “It has been a great experience. You guys continue to have excellent customer service, are very helpful when I have a new decal to design/print, and always get our decals done in a very timely manner.”

Lighted Bank Signs at INB

Before/After Daytime

Over the years, we have worked with Inland Northwest Bank (INB) on several outdoor sign projects.  Many required not only new lighted bank signs, but often a complete makeover to achieve a unified look across all branch locations.

Back in 2015 we were contacted by Jason Miller and Denise Satterfield from INB Headquarters to bid the changeover of the Palouse Bank of Fairfield branches to INB.  “We not only changed out existing faces of old signs, but updated with new bulbs and painted cabinets for a fresher look.  We also put new vinyl hours and logo on the doors,” Signs for Success designer Vanessa Bogensberger said.

Before/After Lighted in the Evening

In 2017, INB wanted to update the Spokane area branches with a more contemporary look.  Each location was unique and required a unique solution.  “We met with them and brainstormed options to update their logo,” Vanessa explained.  “Each branch was slightly different, so we worked with their limitations and desires and came up with some great options.”  The recommended changes fit the sign structures they already had, but created the unified, updated look they were going for.

At the Ruby branch (pictured above and right), we first covered the lightbox area of the pole sign with a painted metal panel.  Adding lighted channel letters over the panel adds dimension and looks great day and night.  At the Francis branch, (pictured below) we installed Day-gray/Night-white channel letters on their existing pole sign.Channel letters come in a variety of finishes and are outdoor durable, making them perfect for storefront signage.

Lighted bank signs are modern, beautiful and striking both day and night.

Best of all, the sign makeovers worked with existing sign structures to create a cohesive update for INB’s locations.  Whether you need to update one or many locations, we can come up with creative solutions to achieve your vision.  Signs for Success is a locally owned family business in Spokane, and we strive for excellent customer service, perfect color, and quick turnaround on every project.  Our large production facility allows us to design, print and install everything in-house.  Get quality service and a quick turnaround on lighted bank signs; contact us for a free quote today!

Etched Glass Vinyl Creates Amazing Windows!

environmental graphics, Add etched glass, sandblasted look, bands for privacy or just to give your office windows or store windows a unique look, Spokane, window decals spokane

Etched Glass Vinyl on entry doors of Greater Spokane Inc.

Greater Spokane, Inc. used etched glass vinyl to add interest and a touch of class to their standard glass doors.  A thick band of Avery Etchmark etched glass vinyl installed on the glass doors and windows give the look of sandblasted glass. This effect also eliminates workers feeling like they are in a fish bowl as pedestrians pass by, enhancing a sense of privacy and security.

Environmental graphics improve the environment visually and enhance a customer’s and employees overall experience.  Etched Glass Vinyl graphics that enhance visual impact or fulfill a purpose are considered environmental graphics.

Sandblasted window looking vinyl, etched glass look, like GSI Spokane Chamber window bands, for looks or for privacy, Signs for Success can do that

Etched glass vinyl is great for offices, conference rooms, glass walls, interior and exterior windows, care centers, and non-profit organizations.  Its clean, modern look does not distract, but can add privacy if needed.  The look is similar to sandblasted glass, but with a much lower price tag.  In addition, you can have your logo or simple graphics cut out, like we did with the Greater Spokane logo shown in reverse.

At Food Services of America we did a large version of their logo accross the whole main entrance. This subtle but larger than life version of the company logo creates a powerful impression to customers, vendors and employees as they enter the facility. is made again as you move past the main entrance into the foyer and make your way to the corporate offices. Here you will see the logo again in etched glass vinyl across the doors this time with their name in blue.

Environmental Window Graphics achieved with Co-op dollars

Advertising Trex decking materials, County Homes Building Supply, Spokane used Signs for Success to add perforated window film to wrap their front windows, looks great, environmental window graphics

For retailers, restaurants, and even office buildings, environmental window graphics are an easy and effective way to get information to your audience.  PARR Lumber’s environmental window graphics were paid for with TREX Decking Co-op advertising dollars.  They improve the look of the storefront while advertising TREX products.

The wrap material itself is unique.  Rather than traditional opaque vinyl, PARR Lumber went with a perforated window film that lets light in without taking away from the graphics.  The perforated film is a 50/50 vinyl, in which 50% of the image is actually made up of tiny holes.  However, as you can see, the quality of the image is not lost, and the graphics are still vibrant and durable.

The environmental window graphics have a positive effect on the Parr Lumber environment. They:

  • Are inviting
  • Are visually attractive
  • Clearly mark the front doors
  • Inform customers about decking products that can be found there

Enhance your environment with custom window graphics.  Temporary graphics can advertise seasonal specials for months, while high performance vinyl will keep your long-term graphics looking great for 5+ years.  Signs for Success is a locally owned family business in Spokane, and we strive for excellent customer service, perfect color, and quick turnaround on every project.  Our large production facility allows us to design, print and install everything in-house.  Get quality service and a quick turnaround on environmental window graphics; contact us for a free quote today!  SEE MORE WINDOW GRAPHICS

Even non-profit organizations can utilize environmental window graphics.  From special events to their mission statement, a window wrap can showcase it all.  The Arc of Spokane’s environmental graphics send a powerful positive message.

‘Environmental graphics’ refers to anything that improves the environment visually and enhances a customer or patron’s overall experience.  The inspiring message on The Arc’s window wrap encourages people to contribute to their mission.

The Arc’s mission is to “ensure that people with developmental disabilities in our community, and the people who care for them, enjoy the highest quality of life possible” through advocacy, family support, employment help, community activities and more.  The window wrap features The Arc logo, “Do something great, Do your part, Donate…” tagline, and recipients of donations.  It’s a positive, uplifting message, with beautiful full color graphics to match.

This window wrap is printed on high performance wrapping film that will last 5+ years.  When creating a custom window wrap, we work one-on-one with our customers to design their ideal wrap.  We recommend the best material for their project, whether it’s intermediate vinyl, high performance vinyl, perforated vinyl, mesh banner, Etchmark or cut lettering.  After discussing your vision, we will design and send proofs for your custom environmental window graphics.  Window graphics produce a positive impression – for your business and your cause.

EWU Custom School Donor Wall

school donor wall dimensional signs at Eastern Washington University LibraryThis unique School Donor Wall was created to thank donors and recognize scholarship recipients.  The Eastern Washington University Library received a sizable donation from the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, dating back to the 1960s graduates, partly to fund the annual Randy Van Turner scholarship.  Randy Van Turner was an EWU graduate and founding member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity at EWU; he was killed in action in Vietnam.  The scholarship in his name has been awarded annually since 2014.

The school donor wall is placed at the entry of Eastern Washington University’s library, and is made up of several pieces.  The layered dimensional effect is achieved with multiple materials, from acrylic to brushed metal, working in great combination.

For this project, the blue waves and top trapezoidal piece are acrylic, the black bars are PVC, the dimensional lettering is brushed silver, and the logo is high performance adhesive vinyl.  The plaque on the left is engraved with the scholarship contributors, and the plaque on the right is a Vista anodized aluminum frame that offers the ability for the university to change the graphics with names of new recipients.

“The wall art is multi-dimensional and layered for an exceptional effect,” Signs for Success’ Julie Dean said. “From the initial contact, several general concepts and materials were considered.  In the end, Signs for Success design department vectored, made design adjustment, and set up a concept created by Carol King of the EWU Library.”

To have all these elements designed, printed, ordered and installed – concept to installation – was just shy of four weeks.  Even with the various design aspects and vendors involved we were able to complete the project within a month.

Count on a Captive Audience with Elevator Wraps

Adding your message or advertisement to the Doors of the Elevator really add impact to your message, Like this at Spokane Valley Hospital installed for Allegra Signs, elevator wraps spokane

Spokane Valley Hospital Elevator Wrap

How much time do you spend per week waiting on an elevator?  With wait times often at 30 seconds or more, elevators are a great place to catch consumers’ attention while they’re standing there staring anyway.  Elevator wraps work especially well in high traffic areas like malls and airports, but they can also be used in other venues such as high rise office and residential buildings, hotels, hospitals and universities.

We recently installed two elevator wraps at Spokane Valley Hospital.  The graphics were printed by Allegra in Louisville, KY, who found us through an internet search and contacted us to install the graphics on location.  These wraps direct viewers to visit the hospital’s website to learn more about the Joint Restoration Center.

Graphics can be applied to the inside or outside (or both!) of the elevator to engage patrons where you can pretty much count on a captive audience.  Using an elevator where people tend to gather and spend a little time every day is a smart advertising strategy.

Use elevator wraps to:

– Promote your next event or newest product release

– Welcome patrons

– Recognize sponsors

– Upsell another product or service

– Use as a renovation notice

– Celebrate a holiday or season
