Looking for Custom Printing Spokane?

We can design and print business documents, posters, forms and brochures, and more.  Here are 7 printing projects to give your business a professional look:

Business Cards or Punch Cards

Whether you’re looking for simple one-color cards or double-sided full color gloss business cards, we deliver professional business cards with quick turnaround.  Custom design allows you to create perfect punch cards or discount cards for your customers.  Merle Norman Cosmetics had us design discount cards to promote skin care products during the month of October.  The single-sided gloss cards can be passed out to customers and handed on to friends and family.

Posters

Use posters to advertise an event, post goals or boost morale.  Posters are lightweight and easy to hang from the ceiling or in a window.  For a professional touch, frame your poster and hang it in a lobby or behind a desk.  Our heavyweight satin paper prints beautifully and can also be laminated for added durability.  Custom design and sizing will make your poster truly unique.

Letterhead with Matching Envelopes

Impress clients with professional letterhead and matching envelopes.  Even small businesses can make a big impression.  In addition, these work much like promotional items because they carry your logo and contact information and have a tendency of sticking around a while.  Standard white copy paper, bond paper, and linen are just a few of the paper options, with pricing per 250, 500 or 1,000.  Matching materials are available for envelopes.

Brochures

Use a three- or four- panel brochure to tell customers about your history or experience and list FAQs, highlights of your product or service, company information and more.  Finish if off with a strong call to action that will really get the phones ringing.

Notepads and Post-it notes

Custom color lined or un-lined notepads or post-it notes.  Pass them out around the office or hand them out to clients.  With your company logo, website and phone number in the header, clients will always have your information close at hand.

Carbonless forms

Whether you need a completely redesigned carbonless form for your company’s needs, or you just want to customize an existing form with your logo, we can supply carbonless forms with 2, 3, or 4 parts, and in black ink or color.  Standard sizes are 8.5″x11″ or half size 8.5″x5.5.”

Postcards

Postcards are great for special campaigns or marketing events.  Go the extra mile with full color gloss postcards to get your message across.

New Logo Design Unifies Custom Signs and Van Wrap

Pioneer Homes van wrap design featuring new logo, created by Signs for Success

We have the opportunity with many businesses looking for a fresh start, or new businesses just starting up, to create a logo design and brand image from scratch.  Working with the customer to achieve their vision is rewarding, especially when we get to see the final product – a complete advertising campaign utilizing the new logo across different media.  For Pioneer Homes, we helped create a new logo design and implement it into the production of custom yard signs, business cards and a van wrap.

Logo Design Spokane

Our experienced design team works with customers one on one to come up with a logo design that suits their company identity and goals.  “We came up with a new logo after many revisions.  Gil is thrilled with his new logo,” Signs for Success designer Vanessa Bogensberger said.  Logos are a shorthand way of referring to the company.  They are the “face” of the company, and they provide a standard and unified focus for the various fonts, colors and design choices in all other marketing materials.  As such, it’s important to take the time to work out a design that will convey that unique identity.

Pioneer Homes Yard Signs proof

Custom Yard Signs

Custom yard signs are a cost-effective way to advertise on and near properties you are working on.  The standard size for yard signs is 18” x 24,” but yard signs are customizable, including sign size, colors, text and artwork.  Vanessa was able to incorporate the new logo into the yard sign design while still maintaining a clean, easy-to-read design.  We print yard signs on weather-resistant corrugated plastic.  Printing can be single- or double-sided, and UV-curable inks hold up outdoors for several months, up to a few years, depending on weather and direct sun exposure.

Van Wrap Design

Vehicle wraps are regarded as the best form of outdoor advertising in terms of return on investment (ROI).  It’s a no brainer to use space you already own to advertise your business, especially when that space also travels to all the communities you want to advertise in.  Furthermore, vehicle wraps generate up to 70,000 impressions per day, and they last 5-7+ years.

“We used his own great photos from jobs he has done in the Inland Northwest as well as out in the Seattle and Western Washington area,” Vanessa said.  Using photographs from finished projects is a great idea – not only is your logo advertised wherever the vehicle goes, but proof of your expertise does as well.  When it comes to van wrap design, simple and bold is the way to go.  Too much text or lots of small photos are difficult to process quickly.  On the other hand, a large logo, large photo and contact information gives just enough visual impact without overwhelming.

Gil of Pioneer Homes was able to use the new logo across different media, from yard signs and business cards to a new van wrap.  Now with the cohesive look, Pioneer Homes is giving a great first impression wherever business takes them.  Signs for Success is a locally owned family business in Spokane, and we strive for excellent customer service, perfect color, and quick turnaround on every project.  Our large production facility allows us to design, print and install everything in-house.  Get quality service and a quick turnaround on logo design Spokane, custom signs and more; contact us for a free quote today! 2nd Harvest in Spokane and Tri Cities, WA had Signs for Success wrap their Transit van

Quality Design Service for Custom Truck Wraps Spokane

2nd Harvest in Spokane and Tri Cities, WA had Signs for Success wrap their Transit van

Another view of Transit Wrap for 2nd Harvest

The Signs for Success design team is skilled and experienced in vehicle wrap design. We work with the client throughout the design process to ensure that vehicle graphics match the goals and message they are trying to convey.  We send design proofs as well as color tests to the customer before the design goes to print.  We want our customers to be informed and completely satisfied with graphics, color and placement.

This is easy because our designers love what they do.  To achieve the look of a wide expanse of wheat on this 2nd Harvest Transit Van, Signs for Success designer Will Oakley used a single photo and repeated it to cover the length of the vehicle. He randomized the pattern every few feet so it doesn’t appear to be repeated.

In order to make a detailed and accurate vehicle wrap design, we need to see the vehicle and take measurements and photos.  For any vehicle graphics project, we download a template for the vehicle, but templates are rarely spot on.

We wrapped the box and cab for Donation Delivery semi for 2nd Harvest Spokane & Tri Cities, custom truck wraps spokane

2nd Harvest delivery semi wrap

During one partial wrap job, the customer was not able to bring in his three work vehicles for us to take measurements and photos.  He gave us measurements over the phone as well as the make and model of each of three different vehicles.  That gave us a great starting place, but without actually seeing the vehicle, we couldn’t be 100% sure our design would be correct.  When we received the vehicles on the day of install, two out of three vehicles had features we were not informed about.  A Jeep had top hinges and a spare tire that would cut into the graphics on the rear window.  We shifted the graphics closer to the middle to avoid those features.  The other problem we found was a pickup truck that had a split back window, necessitating that the graphics be completely cut and applied to three different pieces of glass.  Luckily, these problems were quickly remedied, and the vehicle wraps went on without a hitch.

Another wrap design issue arose when a customer wanted us to install his factory manufactured wrap kits on a fleet of work trucks.  This was a straightforward wrap installation until we got to a truck with an extended cab.  The standard wrap kits did not contain enough vinyl to cover the entire truck length.  There was no pre-manufactured truck wrap kit for extended cabs, so we designed an identical wrap from scratch to match the rest of the truck fleet.  Designer Will Oakley recreated the complex wrap design in Photoshop, and when it was applied, you couldn’t tell the difference.

These are just a couple of examples of when our designers went the extra mile to ensure our customers’ vehicle graphics were the best they could possibly be.  When we design truck wraps or fleet wraps, we keep the end result – and the customers’ goals – in mind.

Advertise 24/7 with a Custom Truck Wrap Spokane

Signs for Success designed and installed this custom pickup wrap for Lewis Construction in Spokane, custom truck wrap spokane

Lewis Construction Pickup Truck Wrap

At Signs for Success, we have designed, printed and installed hundreds of truck graphics and wraps.  This custom truck wrap Spokane was designed for Lewis Construction.  Simple logo graphics, phone number and address fade into full color artwork designed to catch the eye.  A modern, clean design makes a great vehicle wrap, and vehicle wraps give your business a professional edge.

In addition, truck wraps generate a 97% recall rate among viewers, according to Outdoor Advertising Magazine TACA’s market research.  Wraps generate more interest than a static billboard, and they travel all over town, bringing the advertising to thousands of more viewers.  Even driving through your neighborhood on your way home from work is valuable advertising time, and a custom truck wrap Spokane will truly work overtime to reach your audience.

To create a wrap design, we first take photos and measurements of the actual vehicle.  This allows us to create a design template that reflects exactly where any features of the vehicle may appear in the design.  For example, you don’t want your logo to be skewed or a phone number to be lost because it falls across two doors or a door handle.  Our designers send proofs for approval and may tweak the design as necessary.  After printing, our Avery certified installers expertly apply the wrap.  The finished result is a smooth, painted-on finish, and graphics that are uniquely your own.  Vehicles wraps offer excellent return on investment – a custom truck wrap Spokane will advertise 24/7 for at least 5-7 years!

Try this Blending Technique in your Custom Vehicle Wrap Design

Contractor Van WrapVehicle wraps often require several printed panels to cover an entire vehicle.  Matching seams up is critical to achieving a seamless wrap.  Especially when a geometric pattern is involved, matching lines up between panels gets a little tricky.  Here is one blending technique you can use in the design stage to make installation simpler. Our Handyman’s logo graphics involved a sunburst in shades of blue topped with several circles.  It’s an eye-catching and modern design, but it’s also a potential geometric nightmare when it comes time to install several printed panels.  When working with the file, graphic designer Will Oakley noticed that when the panels were in place, the sun bursts went in completely different directions.  “They would have crossed perpendicular to each other,” he said.  “Not only were there sunbursts, which are always a problem, but there were circles on top of the sunbursts.”

The circles began small on the outside and got larger towards the middle.  Without blending, three sets of dots would have met in a dramatic size difference rather than the gradual gradation intended.  Will solved the problem by fading to blue on the panel edges.  On all the physical edges of the vehicle, like the where the back of the vehicle meets the sides, he faded to a single color.  The subtle fade helps to blend the sides and the back of the van so that lines appear smooth and unbroken.  The back and sides were the main issue.  When it came to the hood connecting with the fenders, “they lined up almost perfectly.” Will explained.  “Sometimes we get lucky.”  The end result was a vibrant and seamless van wrap we hope Our Handyman will enjoy for several years to come.

With any custom vehicle wrap design, special care must be taken in the design stage to be sure graphics are properly placed so that when printed, they fall where we expect them to.  It’s not something to leave up to chance.  There is a creative solution to any challenge we face, and we’re always up to the challenge!

Wrap Advertising: How to Wrap a Change Machine

Change Machine Wrap designed, printed and installed by Signs for Success

We love restoration projects and makeovers.  “Makeovers are one of the most enjoyable types of projects we do at Signs for Success,” Owner John Bogensberger said.  The transformation and final product is always fun to see.

One recent makeover was a wrap advertising project for a change machine.  Color change wraps and custom printed wraps can makeover almost anything, from trucks and boats to a beverage cooler – the customer chose a camouflage wrap for his man cave beverage cooler – or even a change machine.

“We created a wrap design to cover over an old change machine,” Signs for Success designer Will Oakley said.  “The design was made to match the theme of the customer’s restaurant.”  This custom wrap advertises birthday parties and mirrors the fun atmosphere of 5 Mile Heights Pizza.

Machine is prepped for install

Signs for Success printed the change machine graphics onto high performance wrap vinyl, then installed the vinyl onto the machine at our facility.  The brightly colored graphics are eye-catching, and they make the old machine look brand new!

How to Wrap a Change Machine

It’s easy.  First strip the old machine of any old graphics or decals, take off any parts that are easily removed, and clean the surface.  Next, place the wrap vinyl where you want it.  Begin smoothing out the vinyl.  If it looks good, go over the surface with a heat gun and smooth with a squeegee tool.  If it needs repositioning, pull up the vinyl, reposition, and repeat.  Use a sharp blade to cut extra vinyl off or to contour cut around handles, openings or other features.

We always recommend having a wrap professionally installed.  Our installers are Avery Car Wrap Certified, have been through rigorous training and testing, and have successfully installed hundreds of wraps.  We want you to get the most out of your wrap advertising, so we make sure the job is done right, and we can guarantee a longer lasting wrap.  Contact us for a free quote!

Restored arcade pinball glass with digital printing by Spokane Signs for Success

Retro Art Restoration: Recreating Pinball Glass

Restored arcade pinball glass with digital printing

Restored arcade pinball glass

Because we create custom digital prints, we often get interesting and unusual requests.  These are fun projects that test our creativity and show off just much our equipment can do.  We were recently asked to restore a retro pinball machine to its original pop art glory.

“The customer had purchased a used pinball machine online.  It was a Williams Heat Wave machine.  He said he used to play it for hours when he was a child,” Signs for Success designer Will Oakley explained.  However, when the customer received his beloved pinball machine, the glass was broken into three pieces.  “It appeared at some point someone had shot it with a BB gun,” Will said.  “We scanned the pieces he had, recreated the missing areas from scratch and reprinted the image onto a piece of glass that the customer provided.”

Digital Printing

Signs for Success specializes in custom large-format digital printing.  Digital printing can translate into car and truck wraps, large signs, posters, banners, decals, and so much more.  This project incorporated our extensive knowledge and experience in backlit signs.  Digital printing makes full color backlit signs possible, but getting the color and saturation just right can be tricky when a sign is backlit half the time, and front-lit the other half of the time.  Too often, we see dark sign graphics during the day and washed out signs at night.  So we came up with a solution – layering color with white ink during printing allows a light-blocking layer so the same color and saturation can be seen whether the sign is lit from the front or back.  We used the same technique for the pinball glass.

“There are areas of the image that don’t show up until the image is backlit.  We were able to recreate these areas using layers of white ink and color,” Will explained.  When the lights come on, the graphics really pop out thanks to a layer of white ink and a second layer of color behind those images.

With a little design savvy, state-of-the-art FB500 flatbed printer, and understanding of color and white ink, we were able to recreate the broken pinball glass.  The customer was ecstatic that we were able to restore his pinball machine and will be able to once again “play it for hours.”

Zerorez Fleet Graphics get Modern Updates

Zerorez custom van wrap designed by Signs for Success

Fleet graphics can be intimidating – with several vehicles to outfit, you want to make sure you get the design right.  Zerorez is a great example of effective fleet wrap advertising.  The owner has steadily grown the company over 10+ years while at the same time updating his fleet graphics little by little along the way.

“I have the pleasure of working with the owner and the marketing staff every time a new vehicle comes into the fleet,” Signs for Success designer Kimberly Hoffmann explained.  Over the span of a decade, the van wrap design has remained more or less the same, but little details are changed every so often to keep the vehicle wraps fresh and modern.  “The most recent update to the design was adding the black hood and black rear doors, which seems to be trendy nowadays,” Kimberly said.

fleet wrap updates with contrasting black vinyl

Zerorez contrast black hood wrap

There are a few timeless details that really make these fleet van wraps pop.  Crisp graphics use the entire length of the van, and the large Zerorez logo makes the vehicle instantly recognizable.  Mixed finishes and accents are certainly trending right now in vehicle graphics, so Zerorez was smart to add touches of contrasting black to their fleet graphics.

By updating graphics, they’re not stuck with one design for too long.  Making improvements has really allowed their fleet wrap advertising to excel, improving both sales and brand recognition.

Signs for Success is experienced in vehicle wraps and fleet wraps and can help any business improve their wrap advertising.  If it’s time for an update, give us a call or request a free quote!

Dryer Ducks Van Wrap focuses on Effective Wrap Design

Signs for Success designed, printed, wrap design, and wrapped by certified wrap installers in Spokane, WA

Dryer Ducks fleet wrap front view

When Dominic Longo of Dryer Ducks came to Signs for Success, his main goal was to create a functional van wrap design that really popped.  With a new logo in hand, he sat down with one of our designers to begin the custom vehicle wrap design process.

The Dryer Ducks logo was the jumping off point for the design.

“I designed the wrap using their logo and before and after pictures of a duct,” Signs for Success designer Will Oakley said.  “Because their logo is a duck they wanted people to know what service they provided so they wouldn’t be confused by the logo. We added the before and after pictures to the wrap to make it more obvious.”

The clean, modern design focused on a few simple and effective graphics and minimal text.  The website, phone number and catch phrase can be clearly read from both sides and the back of the vehicle.  The large logo makes the vehicle recognizable wherever it goes, and catch phrase vinyl lettering over the wheel well makes creative, interesting use of the space.  All the elements come together to create an interesting and effective vehicle wrap design.

Dryer Ducks van wrap designed by Signs for Success

“One of the features the customer really liked was the repeating logo pattern I put in the background. They liked the first proof I sent,” Will said.

This is what we call a “partial wrap” because the back and sides are fully wrapped, while the front fender and hood are decals that were printed, cut and applied to the paint.  Partial wraps give you the most bang for your buck because they really maximize the largest advertising space while blending seamlessly into unwrapped portions of the vehicle.  The finished product looks like a full vehicle wrap, but the process uses less material and takes less time to install than a full wrap.  A partial vehicle wrap is a great way to go if you’re considering adding vehicle graphics to your advertising, using effective wrap design.

Dominic was thrilled with the van wrap.  “Signs for Success did an incredible job on our vehicle wrap,” he said.  “Being a start-up business in Spokane, we needed something that would really stand out.  Will Oakley at Signs for Success took our logo and turned our van into the most amazing mobile billboard we could have ever asked for!  His design was outstanding and he really took initiative on all fronts.  He made sure to give us exactly what we wanted, and kept us informed the whole time!  Working with Will made the process so easy, and we will definitely use him for our whole fleet as we expand!”
